About Me:: I am the daughter of Katherine & Bill Ashburn, the younger brother of Margaret Elizabeth Ashburn Caldwell McInvaill (who is the mother/mother-in-law of Mary Lynn &Dan Morrill); the sister of Bob and Jim Ashburn; the mother of Matthew Ashburn Ramsdell, grand-mother of Andrew Garrett Ramsdell (almost 2), &mother-in-law of Christine Hanna Ramsdell; the aunt of Nicki (18) & William (16), Jim's children; the 1st cousin of Mary Lynn Caldwell Morrill, Douglas Caldwell, &David Caldwell. I live & work in NW rural New Jersey, at Genesis Farm, an ecological learning center and community-supported garden sponsored by the Dominican Sisters of Caldwell, NJ. (The picture on this page shows Genesis Farm.) This is my 'retirement job' after almost 40 years in education - & I have never worked harder in my life! It is a blessing to live in such a beautiful place (visit our website - soon to have pictures!). I look forward every day to new adventures and the blessings of each moment in being alive.
